Sustainable Business Growth with EU Funded Green Energy Projects – SIA “Rožkalni Plus”
At SIA “Rožkalni Plus”, we are committed to sustainable growth and environmental responsibility. To support our development and implement innovative green initiatives, we actively utilize funding from the European Union (EU) Recovery and Resilience Facility, in collaboration with ALTUM.
✅ Green Transport Initiative – Electric Vehicle Purchase (2024)
On August 7, 2024, with support from the ALTUM Recovery Fund, SIA “Rožkalni Plus” added a new electric vehicle – KIA EV6 – to its company fleet.
This environmentally friendly investment:
- Improves company logistics and mobility
- Reduces CO₂ emissions by over 2.6 tons annually
- Supports Latvia’s transition to climate-neutral transport solutions
☀️ Solar Energy Project – Solar Power Plant Installation
To increase energy efficiency and reduce dependence on fossil fuels, SIA “Rožkalni Plus” installed a 50 kW solar power plant with a total panel capacity of 60 kW, funded by the EU and ALTUM Recovery Fund.

- Generates over 50,000 kWh of clean electricity annually
- Powers the company’s production processes with 100% green energy
- Lowers electricity costs and protects against market volatility
- Significantly reduces the company’s carbon footprint
